I re-installed the game from my CE edition discs, then to avoid the hours and hours long download process for the updates, i copied over the 'new' CE files with the previously downloaded updates from the 'old' SW:TOR directory on my 'old' hard drive. More info on the problem: I installed a new SSD. Now my problem is what is the proper entry in the Install Dir key to point to the full path to the launcher.exe file? As long as the 'Game Profile' is set to 'Star Wars The Old Republic' and the 'Executable File' is set to the launcher.exe's full path, then that's all our scan rule would have done.' Browsing for the launcher.exe in the Properties page (as you've done) should be no different than this really. We then add '\launcher.exe' to the end of this to give us the full path to the launcher.
